SDSEA Volcan Mountain Science Adventure

Volcan Mountain near Julian was the scene of another group adventure on Saturday September 29, 2012.

Mike Thacker, local biotech scientist and Volcan Mountain docent, lead the tour which featured information about the ecology, biology, geology, archeology and climatology of the area.  Dinner in Ramona followed the hike (starting about 6:30).

SDSEA underwrote the costs of the dinner and tour. Several new members joined SDSEA (sdsea.org) to support the organization and obtain discounts on future SDSEA trips or special activities.
